After attending both the Guitar<\/a> and Audio Engineering<\/a> programs at MI, Lucas Pereira returned to his hometown of Curitiba, Brasil and founded Boom Sound Design, a complete high-end audio production facility with innovative acoustic design and a musician-friendly workflow. Lucas has produced jingles and commercials for clients such as Coca-Cola, HSBC and Volvo; while working with Grammy-winning musicians\/producer Bob Belden, TV celebrity Cezar Lima, rock band Punkake with producer Roy Z (Judas Priest, Sepultura) and rising Latin stars Monreal.<\/p>\n Lucas is also preparing to launch a parallel record label, Boom Media, focused on getting Brazilian rock and metal out into the world.<\/p>\n \u201cMy education at MI was essential to earn my space in the marketplace,\u201d said Lucas. \u201cThe Audio Engineering program provided the basis for getting the results expected by clients, and my brief time in the GIT program paid dividends when producing bands and in writing original music for corporate clients and television.
