While studying at MI, she recorded her first EP, Situations and Emotions.<\/p>\n
In 2012, Emanuela won a nationwide contest by MTV Tr\u00e8s, after she was handpicked by Colombian singer Juanes to perform a duet with him for his MTV Unplugged album. Emanuela performed the song \u201cFotografia\u201d, originally recorded by Juanes and Nelly Furtado. This opened many doors and gave Emanuela the chance to work with multi-Grammy award winner, Gustavo Borner, who produced her CD, \u201cElla Se Va\u201d, which is entirely in Spanish and features some of LA\u2019s finest musicians. <\/p>\n
Emanuela was also a finalist at The John Lennon Songwriting Contest, with her original song \u201cEsperanza de Amor\u201d and was nominated by The Hollywood Music In Media Awards for the Best R&B\/Soul category, with another song, called \u201cStay With Me\u201d. She has performed all over the world and has been featured in many TV shows in networks such as Univision, MTV Tr\u00e8s, Telemundo, CNN Espa\u00f1ol, among others. Emanuela has four studio albums out, her latest being produced by Darryl Swann (producer of Macy Gray’s album “On How Life Is” in 1999) and Emanuela herself.
