Dear Prospective and Current Students,<\/p>\n
Musicians Institute is thrilled to announce a proposed agreement by which Takeshi Sakimoto
\nwill acquire Campus Hollywood, Inc., which is the parent company of Musicians Institute. Per 34
\nC.F.R. \u00a7 600.20(g)(4), the U.S. Department of Education requires that an institution notify
\nprospective and current students at least 90 days in advance of the closing of any transaction
\nwhich results in the change of ownership and control.<\/p>\n
The transaction will result in Mr. Sakimoto taking full ownership and control of Campus
\nHollywood and Musicians Institute on or after November 14, 2025. This timeline is contingent
\nupon completing the necessary notification processes with the institution\u2019s regulatory agencies,
\nincluding the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education, the National Association of
\nSchools of Music and the U.S. Department of Education.<\/p>\n
As you likely know, Mr. Sakimoto is the President of Campus Hollywood and has served the
\ncompany for over twenty-three years. Mr. Sakimoto worked closely with our previous owner,
\nMr. Hisatake Shibuya, and looks forward to continuing Mr. Shibuya\u2019s legacy and providing music
\neducation opportunities for all students who wish to explore a career in music. We are certain
\nthat under Mr. Sakimoto\u2019s leadership, Musicians Institute will continue to provide inspiring
\nartistic and academic excellence to students that want to pursue careers in the music and
\nentertainment industry.<\/p>\n
As we look forward to the future, we are excited and optimistic about the new opportunities
\nand advancements that Mr. Sakimoto\u2019s ownership will bring. We will keep you updated as this
\nprocess progresses, and we will schedule meetings where Mr. Sakimoto will visit with students
