Wanting to hone his craft further, Julian enrolled in Musicians Institute and earned his Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Drum Performance.<\/p>\n
While at MI, he won two Downbeat Magazine Student Awards for Best Blues, Pop, Rock Performance for his work with his original funk band, Prussia and an Outstanding Student Award.<\/p>\n
Upon graduating, Julian worked with Musicians Institute\u2019s International Outreach department teaching drum clinics and master classes in South Korea, Thailand and China.<\/p>\n

Artur Menezes, International Blues Challenge finalist Pedro Cordeiro, renowned Blues singer and guitarist Seth Rosenbloom, Filipina rapper Ruby Ibarra, Cameron Lee, 14 time daytime Emmy winner Dominic Messinger, numerous Chinese pop artists including Aga, Justin Lo, Jinny Ing, Linda Chung, and many more. <\/p>\n
